Kristaps Porzingis (Calf) Almost Cleared For NBA Finals

The 28-year-old hasn’t appeared in a game since late April due to a calf strain, but there is optimism he will be available for Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

Per The Athletic’s Shams Charania, despite the growing optimism surrounding his injury, there are still some looming hurdles that he needs to clear before being able to step onto the court.

“There are still some hurdles, I’m told, that he has to clear before he can play in Game 1 of The Finals.”

Game 1 is this upcoming June 6th; the Boston Celtics will either be playing the Minnesota Timberwolves or the Dallas Mavericks. Dallas leads the series 3-0, with Tuesday night being a potential close-out game.

According to multiple reports, led by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Boston Celtics are adding Lonnie Walker IV to their team.

The 25-year-old is signing a one-year deal as a prove-it deal to the league that he can ball and be a useful piece to a championship/playoff contending team.

In 58 games for the Brooklyn Nets, Walker averaged 9.7 points and 2.2 rebounds per game. His shooting splits were 42.3% from the field and 38.4% from behind the arc.

Jaylen Brown Done Celebrating: 'It's Back To Work'

After months of recharging the batteries and celebrating winning the 2024 NBA Championship, Jaylen Brown is ready to get back to work.

While some would want to savor the moment until forced to defend it, Brown wholeheartedly embraces it.

“Last year is over, to be honest. We celebrated, we had a good time. It’s been an awesome summer. I’ve been having a great summer, by the way.
