In a salary-dumping move, the Sacramento Kings have traded Jalen McDaniels to the San Antonio Spurs; a second-round pick has also been attached.
San Antonio is using their $8 million room midlevel exception to obtain McDaniels, but they are waiving him with his $4.7 million expiring contract.
By doing this, Sacramento will have the flexibility to add to its roster later in the year.
Last season, the 26-year-old averaged 3.4 points and 1.6 rebounds in 50 games for the Toronto Raptors.
