According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, confirmed by the Oklahoma City Thunder, Chet Holmgren will be sidelined indefinitely for eight-to-ten weeks due to a hip fracture.
To be exact, the upcoming superstar suffered a right iliac wing fracture, which happened during the first quarter of the Thunder’s game against the Golden State Warriors.
Per the reports of Marc Stein, Holmgren is expected to make a return to the season. The organization has optimism.
This injury is another blow to the organization, who still haven’t been able to play newly acquired Isaiah Hartenstein due to injury.
So far this season, the 22-year-old is averaging 16.4 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game.
