According to the Golden State Warriors, Stephen Curry has officially been ruled out for Wednesday’s Game 5 against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Golden State is facing elimination being down 3-1 to Anthony Edwards.
With Curry suffering this type of injury for the first time in his career, and the severity of the hamstring injury, rushing back from this type of thing is highly improbable.
The Warriors won Game 1, since then they have lost every game. All they needed to do was win one game to give Curry a chance of returning in Game 6.
To save their season, Jimmy Butler’s Warriors need to win. If they fail to win, then Edwards would have taken down the likes of LeBron James, Luka Doncic, and Curry to continue his journey to winning his first championship.
