According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the San Antonio Spurs and free agent Bismack Biyombo have come to terms on a one-year contract that will see him return to the franchise for the upcoming season.

After signing with San Antonio last February to give them depth at the center position, Biyombo appeared in 28 games averaging 5.1 points and 5.6 rebounds.

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Atlanta Hawks have traded Kobe Bufkin to the Brooklyn Nets. The former 15th overall pick of the 2023 NBA Draft’s time in Atlanta comes to an end after two seasons.

Bufkin only appeared in 27 games out of a possible 164 games. Brooklyn only had to give up cash considerations to acquire the 21-year-old, as Atlanta created a new roster spot. The Nets also reached the minimum salary floor while maintaining $11.6 million in cap space.

During Bufkin’s rookie season, fans saw him absolutely dominate the G League. He averaged 23.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 5.9 assists in 32.0 minutes in 14 games of action.

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the stalemate between Jonathan Kuminga and the Golden State Warriors continue, but some progress has been reached.

Golden State has upped their offer to three years worth $75 million and does include a team option. This is an upgrade compared to the two-year, $45 million offer Kuminga recently declined.

One of the main reasons as to why Kuminga declined their last attempt was due to not enough money and a team option being for the second year.

As of late, the 22-year-old has been questioning whether the Warriors actually want him around their organization or not.

Kuminga is not budging off his stance of wanting a fully guaranteed deal, or a two-year deal that includes a player option.

His representatives did present the Warriors with a three-year, $88 million deal with a player option. However, Golden State is not comfortable with giving that much money to Kuminga, who they see as an up-and-down player, when they have other roster issues.
