Bismack Biyombo Signs With Grizzlies

It is finally official, the Memphis Grizzlies have signed veteran center Bismack Biyombo to a one-year deal.

The former Phoenix Sun inked a $5 million deal with $1 million guaranteed. This signing was possible due to the league giving Memphis an exemption after the fifth game of Ja Morant’s suspension.

Biyombo’s signing comes when Brandon Clarke is still dealing with an injury and Steven Adams is done for the year with surgery.

Bismack Biyombo Signs 10-Day Contract With Spurs

According to Chris Haynes, the San Antonio Spurs have signed free agent Bismack Biyombo to a ten-day contract.

One of their biggest needs currently is center depth after seeing Zach Collins depart from the team and Charles Bassey dealing with a knee injury.

This is the first team Biyombo has been signed to this season; last season, he split his time between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Memphis Grizzlies.

In 839 career games, the 32-year-old averages 5.1 points and 5.9 rebounds in 19.5 minutes.
