Bradley Beal shut down for a week due to this new injury! The Wizards are hoping that they can get their superstar back very soon; until then, they will have to wait and just play ball without him.

The amount of games he is going to miss is at least four games. The four game timeline is going to be very interesting, how so? Well the injury he is dealing with is a ligament injury in his left wrist. Those injuries can be tough to shake or it can be the easiest to shake; sadly, we will not know right now until he is being reevaluated in the next week.

Beal suffered the injury during the third quarter of the their loss to the Grizzlies this past Saturday.

Isaac Okoro (Shoulder) Out At Least Two Weeks

According to the Cleveland Cavaliers, Isaac Okoro is set to miss at least the next two weeks due to an AC joint sprain in his right shoulder.

The 23-year-old suffered the injury on December 16th against the Brooklyn Nets; fans saw him play 20 minutes before injuring himself.

In 23 games this season, Okoro averages 6.6 points off 49.5% from the field, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 21.0 minutes.

Okoro is in the first year of his three-year, $33 million deal.

According to the Philadelphia 76ers, Joel Embiid has been upgraded to questionable for Friday’s game against the Charlotte Hornets.

The plan is for the team to reevaluate the 30-year-old hours before their game on Friday; it would be a quick turnaround. However, he is already progressing, so there is a possibility of him playing.

Embiid suffered a right sinus fracture during their game against the Indiana Pacers on December 13th; Philadelphia said they would reevaluate him a week from then.

Overall, Embiid has only played six games this season. This is mainly due to suspension, this current injury, and looming knee issues.

Hawks Want To Trade Clint Capela By Deadline

According to multiple reports headlined by Marc Stein, the Atlanta Hawks want to trade Clint Capela’s expiring contract by this year’s trade deadline.

For those unaware, the 30-year-old is making $22.4 million this season, with him becoming an unrestricted free agent next offseason. Atlanta is reportedly not interested in re-signing him.

Onyeka Okongwu, when Capela is no longer with the franchise, is expected to handle the starting center position. The Hawks believe the young big man can handle those responsibilities.

Capela is averaging 10.0 points and 9.4 rebounds in 27 games this season.
