Bradley Beal Wants Deandre Ayton To Stay In Phoenix

Per Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report, Bradley Beal has more power than many think when it comes to the Wizards trading him. Since he has the no-trade clause in his contract, Beal gets to decide where he goes and who he plays with.

It’s currently believed Beal wants some say in who stays and goes on the current roster of the Phoenix Suns. The biggest name he wants gone is Chris Paul.

Landry Shamet is most likely gone, but it is now between Deandre Ayton and future HoFer Chris Paul. It appears Beal would rather have Ayton stay and Paul leave, which means Phoenix would have a core four.

Beal would be in the starting lineup with Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, Deandre Ayton, and Torrey Craig. That is the current lineup if Beal forces his way to the Suns.

If Paul is a part of the package to get Beal, then the Suns have the full ability to be flexible with his remaining salary. They can adjust his salary to make sure it fits into the trade proposal and there are no errors.

For Beal, once he gets traded, his 15% trade bonus will become waived. His no-trade clause will continue over to the new team he is on.

Shams Charania of The Athletic reported the Heat and Suns being the two finalists for the Bradley Beal sweepstakes.
