While the Houston Rockets did put in an offer for the 35-year-old, it was the Milwaukee Bucks who were able to persuade Lopez to return to the team.

Brook Lopez has agreed to a two-year, $48 million deal. Lopez is coming off his best season with the Bucks averaging 15.9 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks per game.

Lopez was also top-three in voting for Defensive Player of the Year last season. Jaren Jackson Jr., a player for the Memphis Grizzlies, won the award.

He’s been playing with the Bucks since 2018-19.

Brook Lopez still offers so much, even at the age of thirty-five. His ability to impact offensively and wreak havoc defensively is coveted by many teams, including Milwaukee.
