Bucks Potentially Trading Brook Lopez This Summer

According to The Ringer’s Kevin O’Connor, the Milwaukee Bucks may be looking to trade Brook Lopez for several reasons this offseason.

With Doc Rivers taking over, Milwaukee could switch schemes and want to play a more versatile defense style. This would most definitely mean an exit for the former champion, but it’s not the only reason. Age and contract status is another concern for management.

The 36-year-old is in the final year of his contract, which sees him making $23 million.

Damian Lillard IN, Giannis Antetokounmpo OUT For Game 6

According to Chris Haynes, Damian Lillard has been cleared to play in a series-deciding Game 6 against the Pacers. The Bucks missed him during their win in Game 5, but will be more than happy to have him back.

However, according to Adrian Wojnarowski, Giannis Antetokounmpo has been ruled out for Thursday’s game. Both players attempted to make a comeback for this series, but only Lillard got cleared.

Antetokounmpo is still dealing with his calf injury, and no real timeline has been established for him. In terms of Lillard’s Achilles, how healthy he is unknown, it’s just a matter of needing to be involved in tonight’s life-or-death game.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Damian Lillard Both Close To Returning

The Bucks fought off elimination with their Game 5 win without both of their superstars, but Game 6 may be a different story – favoring Milwaukee.

According to Doc Rivers, Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo are “very close” to returning. During their off day on Wednesday, they’ll be doing on-the-court work to test themselves for Thursday’s Game 6.

“I think they’re very, very, very close,” Rivers said.

Indiana is looking to end this series and not have Milwaukee send it to a Game 7.
