In severely unfortunate news, the Oklahoma City Thunder have announced Jalen Williams will be missing Monday’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers due to a right hamstring injury.

Despite telling the public about the injury, OKC did not have a timeline available for his potential return. However, with speculating too much, knowing what is known about this type of injury, these are not ones were a player can rush back fast from it. It will take time.

This season has been a challenging one for Williams, as the 24-year-old forward has been plagued by injuries consistently. Before suffering this injury, the last major injury he was recovering from was when missed roughly a month while recovering from offseason surgery on his right wrist.

Even without having their highly talented player, the Thunder have managed to go 18-1.

According to Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald, the Miami Heat will be without starting shooting guard Tyler Herro for at least the beginning of their five-game road trip.

With the 25-year-old not traveling with the team, he is set to undergo an MRI for his rib contusion.

This season has been injury-riddled for Herro, as he’s missed 31 of the first 42 games played by the Heat. Despite Miami not having their All-Star guard, the team is 18-13. When Herro is in the lineup, they have a record of 4-7.

According to the Cleveland Cavaliers, they will be without starting point guard Darius Garland for at least 7-10 days due to a right great toe sprain. It is being labeled as a Grade 1 right toe sprain.

Garland suffered the injury during Wednesday’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers.

This toe injury is on the other foot from the toe injury the 25-year-old had surgery on this past offseason.
