Grayson Allen Signs Extension With Phoenix Suns
Both sides had until June 30th to get a deal inked, and according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Phoenix Suns have extended Grayson Allen long-term.
Allen has signed a four-year, $70 million extension after being a massive part of Phoenix’s three-guard lineup with Devin Booker and Bradley Beal. He’s also coming off a career year in three-point shooting, which leads the league with 46.1%.
This was a definite need for James Jones and the Suns, as if they didn’t extend him, they would only be able to replace him with minimum-contract players in the offseason. While Mat Ishbia will be paying $206 million with an additional $104 million in luxury tax, this is something the organization had to complete.
According to multiple reports, Phoenix highly values Grayson Allen and his role within the locker room.
