According to the New Orleans Pelicans, Herb Jones suffered the injury against the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday, which prompted him to be evaluated by team physicians and get additional testing.

What the team found was a strained right shoulder and a small low-grade partial thickness tear in his rotator cuff.

Depending on how the 26-year-old reacts to treatment and overall rehab, Jones can return in 2-4 weeks.

New Orleans has a laundry list of injured players, as Jones joins Trey Murphy III, CJ McCollum, and Dejounte Murray on their injury report.
