Immanuel Quickley Not Concerned About Extension
Despite the deadline being October 23rd, Immanuel Quickley is not worried about getting an extension from the New York Knicks.
He’s been a growing key member of the Knicks as he almost won Sixth Man of the Year last season, New York’s rotation has been a lot better given his skills and talents.
His emergence as a key contributor will allow him to command a solid payday, something he’ll either get this deadline or next off-season when they can make him a restricted free agent.
“That’s where my faith comes in,” the backup guard said. “Really all up to God. I’m not going to lie, I’ve been fortunate to not even be worrying about it. It goes days, sometimes weeks, where I just forget about all that stuff. Unless somebody reminds me. So just coming in everyday and trying to get better is my main focus.”
