James Harden agrees to an extension with the 76ers

The 76ers have agreed to terms with James Harden for a new contract extension. Harden’s new contract is set for two-years, $67 million. This deal is a great deal for Philly as they have more financial flexibility to add players and improve their roster.

Harden opted out of his $47 million player option, this ultimately allowed the Sixers to save $15 million dollars for the upcoming season. The extra $15 million will help the Sixers to sign more players and make more transactions.
