The interview with Maverick Carter has the NBA World in a frenzy with Joel Embiid hinting at the possibility of leaving Philadelphia to win a championship.

This revealing interview featured Embiid talking about his future, his goals, and his aspirations of winning a championship.

“I just want to win a championship, whatever it takes,” said Embiid. “I don’t know where that’s going to be, whether it’s in Philly or anywhere else. I just want to have a chance to accomplish that, I want to see what that feels like to win that first one, and then you can think about the next one. It’s not easy, it takes more than one two or three guys. Got to have good people around you, and myself, every single day I work hard to be at that level so I can push us to make it happen. Every single day that’s working toward that goal, that’s where my mindset has always been. MVP is just an added bonus.”

Fans, writers, and insiders have come together to say teams like the New York Knicks and the Boston Celtics would be a good landing spot for Embiid. The former MVP wants to win a championship and it appears loyalty may be thrown out the window.

Philadelphia will now have the pressure put on them to get Embiid some help and talk him out of any trade requests he may have.

According to multiple reports, the Philadelphia 76ers will be signing Reggie Jackson after he clears waivers from the Charlotte Hornets. This is the second time in two years Jackson has been waived by the Hornets.

The Denver Nuggets traded the 34-year-old to Charlotte to shed his salary, which saw them getting two second-rounders from Denver to take the money.

Philadelphia needed to fill their hole in the backcourt, depth-related concerns, and they found Jackson to be the right match.

Jackson averaged 10.2 points and 3.8 assists in all 82 games last season for the Nuggets.

Sixers Want Both Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Paul George

According to Marc Stein, the Philadelphia 76ers are working a dream scenario where they can land both Paul George and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Both are unrestricted free agents.

Caldwell-Pope opted out of his $15.4 million option with the Denver Nuggets, and it doesn’t look like he will return to the franchise. Calvin Booth is preparing for the team to lose one of the best 3-And-D wing players, but they’ll have some money to make moves.

For Philly, they have the cap space to land both and give George the maximum contract he desperately wants. The Sixers can offer George a four-year, $212 million deal. It’s only $9 million less than what the Los Angeles Clippers can offer him; however, Trent Redden does not want to pay George that money.

According to Bleacher Report’s Chris Haynes, Paul George is reportedly a member of Philadelphia. Thus, it looks like the door to an L.A. return is ruled out. If they can get KCP, that would be a tremendous bonus.

According to Bleacher Report’s Chris Haynes, the Philadelphia 76ers are officially done with their partnership involving Tobias Harris. Multiple teams want the veteran forward.

The Dallas Mavericks, New Orleans Pelicans, Detroit Pistons, San Antonio Spurs, and Utah Jazz are all interested in him. For them, they all have the money to lure him to their franchise.

Philly will use all their cap space to reconstruct their roster around Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey. This comes after knowing Harris will not return to Daryl Morey’s franchise.
