According to the Philadelphia 76ers, they will be without Joel Embiid for at least the next week due to their big man suffering a right sinus fracture.

The injury happened last Friday against the Indiana Pacers, which saw Bennedict Mathurin attempt to grab the rebound; however, upon landing, his arm crashed into the face of the 30-year-old.

Once Embiid went to the locker room, he never returned to the bench.

Embiid has only played in six of the 23 games this season.

According to multiple reports, confirmed by the Philadelphia 76ers, Andre Drummond will be sidelined for the next three games due to suffering a sprained ankle.

The 31-year-old suffered the injury during November 30th’s game against the Detroit Pistons early in the first quarter. After suffering the injury, Drummond was ruled out for the remainder of the game.

Philadelphia will re-evaluate him later this weekend, as they’ll take on the Charlotte Hornets and back-to-back games against the Orlando Magic.

In 17 games this season, Drummond averages 8.1 points and 8.2 rebounds in 20.4 minutes.

According to the Philadelphia 76ers, Joel Embiid has suffered swelling in his left knee and will require time off to heal.

Right now, Embiid is set to miss at least two games, as the 30-year-old was ruled out for Friday’s game and has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Thirty minutes before tip off, Embiid was ruled out for the game on Friday against the Brooklyn Nets. The expectation was for him to test his knee out, but he never made it onto the court.

Embiid has only played in four of the fifteen possible games this season.
