Josh Hart, Knicks Agree To Extension
Per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the New York Knicks have come to terms with Josh Hart on a new extension.
Both sides were adamant to get a deal done, and now Hart is locked up for the foreseeable future.
Hart has signed a four-year, $81 million extension. Hart was due $13 million this season and will now have his new contract as a five-year, $94 million agreement.
The 28-year-old will be able to officially sign the contract on Thursday.
Last season, the Portland Trail Blazers traded Hart to the New York Knicks. In 25 games, he averaged 10.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.4 steals in 30.0 minutes.
