According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, the Philadelphia 76ers and Joel Embiid have agreed to a massive three-year extension.
This extension is set at $193 million and will be added when Embiid declines his upcoming player option for the 2026-27 season.
The 30-year-old will be tied to Philly for the next five years, during which time he’ll be making a little under $300 million. To be precise, roughly $299.5 million.
Embiid will have a player option worth $69.1 million in 2028-29.
