According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Atlanta Hawks and center Jock Landale have come to terms on a new contract agreement where fans will see him return to Atlanta on a one-year deal worth $14 million.

Last season, the 30-year-old played with the Memphis Grizzlies and the Hawks. After getting traded to Atlanta at the deadline, Landale averaged 9.1 points and 4.1 rebounds in 23 games.

Landale was greatly missed by his new team during the postseason with a high ankle sprain, as him not being available left the organization thin at the center position behind Onyeka Okongwu. 

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Atlanta Hawks have made the decision Monday to decline Jonathan Kuminga’s $24.3 million team option for the upcoming season. This will see him as an unrestricted free agent beginning June 30th.

Last season, the 23-year-old signed a two-year $48.5 million contract with the Golden State Warriors as a restricted free agent. During the trade deadline, fans saw Golden State trade Kuminga for 30-year-old Kristaps Porzingis.

In 16 games for Atlanta last season, Kuminga averaged 12.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.1 assists.

It is unclear at this current time what his free agency value is and what his next contract will look like in the National Basketball Association.

According to the Atlanta Hawks, newly acquired forward Jonathan Kuminga will be out through the All-Star break due to a bone bruise in his left knee. He will be re-evaluated after the break.

This was announced on Saturday, a couple days after trading for him before the trade deadline. Fans saw Atlanta trade Kristaps Porzingis to the Golden State Warriors for Buddy Hield and Kuminga.

Hield is set to make his debut with Atlanta this Saturday.
