Lakers Unlikely To Make Any Major Moves
According to Jovan Buha of The Athletic, there is an expectation the Los Angeles Lakers won’t make any significant moves before the deadline arrives.
Internally, Los Angeles believes their players can improve, and this season isn’t lost – if no moves are made.
For players like Dejounte Murray, the Lakers aren’t looking to increase their original offer to meet the Atlanta Hawks’ demands. The original offer was D’Angelo Russell, Jalen Hood-Schifino, a 2029 first-round pick, and additional picks.
It has also been made clear the Lakers aren’t dealing Austin Reaves in any deal that doesn’t include an All-Star player. Reaves is considered safe around the league and within the organization.
The NBA Trade Deadline is this Thursday.
