LaMelo Ball wins the Rookie Of The Year Award!

LaMelo Ball wins the Rookie Of The Year Award! Ball has beaten out his other two finalist competitors, Edwards and Hailburton. As LaMelo Ball has been a rockstar on the court this season and leading his team to a winning season until he got injured; however, even when he returned after wrist surgery he kept winning for that team and proving a huge impact for his team. Ball averaged 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists.

Not only did he perform well in his first season, but he did bring them into the playoffs. However, injuries did kill them. But, they showed improvement and showed that they can be a winning team when they have the right pieces. They have the ultimate piece in LaMelo and a player they can build around.

This was a huge victory for the rookie proving that college does not need to boost you significantly in the NBA; something that played a factor into his draft prospect. But he was able to hang through and the baller won the award. The only award left to give is the 2020-21 NBA All-Rookie Teams.
