Mason Plumlee traded to Clippers

The Los Angeles Clippers, just like their rivals (the Lakers), were active and making deals happen left and right. One of their deals involved the Charlotte Hornets and Mason Plumlee.

The Clippers traded Reggie Jackson to the Hornets for Mason Plumlee. Plumlee is set to be L.A.’s backup big-man behind Ivica Zubac. Also, he is on an expiring contract set for $9 million.

Despite sending out Jackson, Los Angeles has kept their backcourt tight and right by trading for Bones Hyland and Eric Gordon.

It is also being reported that Reggie Jackson and the Hornets are working on a contract buyout; once that happens then he’ll join Russell Westbrook, Patrick Beverley and John Wall in that market for teams to sign. Those are the bigger names in the buyout market, many more players are expected to be apart of that market.

It is believed by many that Reggie Jackson could be wearing a Suns jersey once the buyout market officially opens. It is rumored the Suns aren’t done adding pieces and the buyout market is their next target.

Here is the full list of the potential buyout market:
