According to the Dallas Mavericks, Luka Doncic will be out against the Los Angeles Clippers today.

Doncic is dealing with a heel contusion, which forced him to miss the last two days of practice.

Dallas plays Los Angeles again this upcoming Saturday.

According to the Dallas Mavericks, superstar player Luka Doncic has suffered a right wrist sprain and will be out for at least a week.

An MRI has confirmed this diagnosis and will be reevaluated in one week. The injury occurred during Tuesday’s game against the New Orlean Pelicans.

Doncic is averaging 28.1 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 7.6 assists in 14 games this season.

According to Marc Stein, the Dallas Mavericks are hiring the former head coach of the Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles Lakers, Indiana Pacers, and Orlando Magic as a coaching consultant.

When coaching Los Angeles, Frank Vogel had Jason Kidd on his coaching staff in 2020 when the Lakers won the championship. The roles are reversed now, and the Mavericks hope to win the Finals soon.

Kidd is very happy that Vogel decided to join the Mavericks. He said it took some convincing after Phoenix fired him.

“It took a lot of begging, but he was talked into it, and I’m happy he said yes,” said Kidd.
