According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, the Phoenix Suns have decided to create roster flexibility by waiving and stretching Nassir Little’s contract.
Little, now owed $22 million over three seasons, will be able to sign with a new team. Phoenix appears to want an open roster spot heading into training camp and the heart of the off-season of training.
The 24-year-old and E.J. Liddell were both waived by the Suns, which helps with roster spots and trade flexibility.
