Pat Spencer Signs Standard NBA Contract With Warriors

According to Jake Fischer, the Golden State Warriors have converted Pat Spencer’s contract from a two-way deal to a standard NBA contract for the remainder of the season.

This comes after hitting the maximum allotment of 50-game appearances as a two-way player, as by signing this standard contract, the 29-year-old will be available to the team for the remainder of the season into their hopeful postseason run.

In 36 games this season, Spencer is averaging 5.8 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 2.9 assists. He is coming off a stellar performance against the Phoenix Suns where he put up 20 points, six rebounds, four assists, and two steals.

Jonathan Kuminga (Bone Bruise) To Be Re-Evaluated After All-Star Break

According to the Atlanta Hawks, newly acquired forward Jonathan Kuminga will be out through the All-Star break due to a bone bruise in his left knee. He will be re-evaluated after the break.

This was announced on Saturday, a couple days after trading for him before the trade deadline. Fans saw Atlanta trade Kristaps Porzingis to the Golden State Warriors for Buddy Hield and Kuminga.

Hield is set to make his debut with Atlanta this Saturday.

According to Chris Haynes, Anthony Davis will be shutting it down for the remainder of the season to fully recover from the hand and groin injuries he’s suffered the past couple of months.

His ideal vision is to be completely healthy to have a strong duo partnership with Trae Young. Plus, play majority of the games with this young roster Washington has assembled.

After playing in only 29 games total for the Dallas Mavericks, the 32-year-old was traded to the Wizards. In 20 games this season with Dallas, he averaged 20.4 points, 11.1 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.6 blocks.

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Orlando Magic are signing former Chicago Bulls guard Jevon Carter for the remainder of the season.

This signing came after Orlando traded away Tyus Jones for luxury tax purposes. Their point guard room needed another player.

Before getting waived by Chicago, in 23 games this season, the 30-year-old averaged 5.4 points and 1.1 rebounds. This will be his sixth team in his NBA career.
