According to The Athletic’s Sam Amick, the Detroit Pistons have real interest in potentially trading for Isaiah Joe, which isn’t too unbelievable when considering the fact that the Oklahoma City Thunder may be more willing to move him due to luxury tax and second apron concerns.
Detroit would love to acquire Joe, as they are looking to add perimeter shooting around star Cade Cunningham.
In 71 games last season, the 26-year-old averaged 10.2 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.6 assist. Joe is set to make $11.3 million this coming season, as OKC holds a team option on his contract for the 2027-28 season at $11.3 million.
