No timetable has been given to the injury of the projected second-overall pick, however, Henderson downplayed the injury and hopes to be healthy by the Ignite’s G League opener on November 4th.

There were big questions surrounding Henderson and Victor Wembanyama, those two specifically, on if they should be rested after their first exhibition game. The possibility of injuries raced through people’s minds, and sure enough, it happened.

Henderson suffered a bone bruise in his knee while guarding Wembanyama during the G League Ignite’s 112-106 loss to Metropolitans 92 on Thursday.

Henderson that game finished with 0 points in 5 minutes played. Wembanyama did, changing the tune of this article, ball out again. He put up 36 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 blocks.

Safe to say that both players, when healthy and active, put on shows when they play. Henderson, while not having an official timeline, is hopeful for November 4th as a return date.

It doesn’t mean that it’s going to happen if you stay the course. You need to shake things up and keep reimagining what it looks like to evolve with what league is at right now, with where some of these talented teams are now.
