Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to play opening night

OKC has a lot to be grateful for as their star player will be a go for opening night against the Timberwolves. Gilgeous-Alexander went down with an MCL sprain in late September, which put fear into the hearts of many that he would miss the start of the season.

Now there is great optimism that Shai is going to be able to play this Wednesday, per Mark Daigneault – head coach of the OKC Thunder.

This is a significant announcement with the season kicking off in three days, OKC will have better morale heading into the season.
