According to multiple reports, and the man himself, Paul George is still dealing with the rehab process of the knee surgery he undergone back in July. This has forcibly stopped him from being able to practice in the upcoming training camp.
Daryl Morey and the Philadelphia 76ers have made it clear that they don’t know how many games he will play this year, and what his health will look like. In fact, it could be less or roughly the same as last season; fans only saw him appear in 41 games.
“I’m getting better and better,” George said. “I’m feeling stronger and stronger. I feel a lot better now than I did at this point last year.”
The positives for George is that he has made tremendous progress and has done everything for rehab. The only thing he hasn’t done yet is scrimmaging practiced in full.
The Sixers are tied to him for another three years under his four-year, $212 million contract.
