For another game in a row, Stephen Curry leads all players in the 3-point shot category. He’s a 99 overall. The craziest thing people saw was the gap between the first and second, and it’s a six overall difference.
Another crazy thing is looking beyond the top ten and seeing Matt Ryan and Garrison Matthews, who both have an 88 overall, have a better 3-point shot than players like Damian Lillard and LeBron James.
However, before we get into that interesting fact, let’s break down the top ten list.
Top 10 3-point shooters in NBA2K25:
As a reminder to all, these overalls (or any overalls) are subject to change before the release of 2K25. The game doesn’t release until September 6th, which means fans have a month left to see if any changes happen.
- Stephen Curry – 99
- Grayson Allen – 93
- Kevin Durant – 92
- Klay Thompson – 89
- Luke Kennard – 89
- Luka Doncic – 88
- Desmond Bane – 88
- Mike Conley – 88
- Norman Powell – 88
The Phoenix Suns will have two players in the top ten of three-point shooting, as Allen and Durant are also two of the three players with a 90+ three-point shot. It’s incredible to think how valuable this category is when only three players are 90+ and one is a solid 99 overall.
It’s also interesting to see how quickly the “drop off” is from 99 to 88, or even 92 to 88. For the Dallas Mavericks, they have two players in the top ten. So, if you’re a fan of the Suns or Mavericks, these are only two teams with two players in the top ten.
This is great for people who have excellent skills for taking shots beyond the arc or for players who just prefer the deep-ball shot.
Time for the fun fact
Matt Ryan (88) and Garrison Matthews (88) have a better 3pt overall than these guys…
- Jayson Tatum (87)
- Devin Booker (87)
- Kyrie Irving (87)
- Donovan Mitchell (87)
- Bradley Beal (87)
- Anthony Edwards (86)
- LeBron James (85)
- Damian Lillard (85)
Both Ryan’s and Matthews’ ratings in NBA2K25 are 72 overall, which is eye-widening when seeing them better than future Hall of Famers and known three-point assassins. No disrespect to these players, but to see them have a better three-point shot than them is absolutely nuts.
Either way, that’s what stands as of August 4th. If you guys play with the New Orleans Pelicans, then shoot it with Ryan. If you guys play with the Atlanta Hawks, then shoot it with Matthews.
