Trae Young is unstoppable – relive the moment that killed the hopes of Knick’s fans! We can talk about the whole game and what should have happened, what shouldn’t of, but here is the fact of the matter. This is/was one of the most entertaining Hawks and Knicks game ever seen.

Trae Young made a huge impact on the court yesterday, as he put up ridiculous stats and huge impacts. Plus, he sunk a game-winner in his first-ever NBA Playoff game. Lou Williams was reportedly heard saying, “Don’t pass the ball.” To Trae Young and the young buck followed his sound advice. Williams may not be the greatest player ever, but he does know a thing or two about playoff games and games in general.

Knicks fans were going insane, myself included when Derrick Rose hit the smooth floater with 8-9 seconds remaining in the game. We couldn’t contain our emotions. Are you ready for all the moments contained in one play? It was many bricked shots were happening and it almost cost us the game. We had Randle miss a shot, Gibson recovers the rebound, and then Rose coming down the lane and hitting that sweet, sweet floater.

Now the devastating part:

All throughout last night’s game you could hear the fans in MSG Stadium roaring with passion as they broke out in chants against the Hawks, mainly towards Trae Young. That was moments away from sinking the game-winner with 0.9 seconds remaining on the clock.

Knick’s fans were so confident in them winning that they started chanting “—- Trae Young.” Yep, that confidence went away when he hit the game-winner. Check out what Young had to say about it:

“As I hit the floater, it just felt like everybody got quiet,” Young said. “I was waiting for them (explicit)-you chant again. I was excited.”

What great back-and-forth motions within the final two minutes of the game; Derrick Rose showed why he is the Sixth Man Of The Year, Young showed that he is the franchise player, and these two teams showed that they belong in this postseason. What a spectacular night for both teams as it will only get better in Game 2.
