Rockets Looking To Trade The Third Pick
During Sunday’s draft lottery reveal, it was found out that the Houston Rockets will be picking third in this year’s NBA draft. However, general manager Rafael Stone will be looking to shop the pick to see it’s worth.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Houston wants to continue building its ready-to-attack team for the postseason. They’ve done a great job taking the Rockets from 22 wins to 41 wins this past season.
As fans saw in last year’s offseason, the team is believed to want to continue strengthening its young core with the experience of another veteran. Instead of adding another young player to a very young group, Stone wants to add another veteran to improve their odds of being a win-now franchise.
The draft is June 26th and 27th.
