Nets Are Considering An Isaac Okoro Sign-And-Trade

According to multiple reports, headlined by HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto, teams have shown interest in Isaac Okoro, with the Brooklyn Nets seriously considering acquiring him.

It’s being reported that they’ve entertained the possibility of doing a sign-and-trade with the Cleveland Cavaliers for Okoro. While Cleveland wants to re-sign the 23-year-old, it must be priced right.

According to HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto, the Charlotte Hornets and Brooklyn Nets are interested in trading for Isaac Okoro.

Okoro signed a three-year, $38 million extension with Cleveland on September 14th for those who don’t remember. That’s important to note because Charlotte and Brooklyn were both interested in him before the deal was even signed.

Now that it is signed, it can be an official sign-and-trade for the 23-year-old wing.

Both teams need an energetic, athletic wing player to complement their roster. Last season, Okoro averaged 9.4 points off 49.0% from the field and 39.1% from deep.
