According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, the Atlanta Hawks have waived Bruno Fernando. This is Atlanta’s way of dealing with their center depth.

Clint Capela, Onyeka Okongwu, and Larry Nance Jr. are the other centers on their payroll.

Fernando, who is 25 years old, averaged 6.3 points and 4.3 rebounds in 15.2 minutes in 45 games last season.
