Ryan Dunn (Ankle) Doubtful For Suns-Mavericks

According to multiple reports, confirmed by the Phoenix Suns’ injury report, Ryan Dunn is doubtful for Friday night’s game against the Dallas Mavericks.

Dunn, who has been very impressive offensively and defensively, suffered the injury during Wednesday’s game against the Miami Heat.

The injury happened during the fourth quarter when Jusuf Nurkic made a three-pointer, which all seemed like a normal play. However, Dunn fell to the ground in the corner out of bounds, noticeably limping, but played the remainder of the game.

It is unclear the severity of his ankle sprain, however, assuming after more tests are conducted, fans will know more in the coming days.

Malik Monk (Ankle) Out At Least Two Weeks

According to the Sacramento Kings, Malik Monk has suffered a sprained ankle and will be out for at least the next two weeks.

There is good news in all of this, as there was no structure damage, per the X-rays. Plus, it’s only a moderate, not a severe, ankle sprain.

With this new injury, Monk will miss Sacramento’s upcoming seven games. This is assuming he’s only out for two weeks.

The 26-year-old suffered the injury during Sunday’s game against the Phoenix Suns. Monk stepped on the foot of Mason Plumlee, which saw him noticeably limping and head straight to the locker room. He did not return in their overtime win against Phoenix.

In ten games this season, Monk is averaging 12.6 points off 44.2% from the field, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 25.0 minutes.

Damian Lillard (Concussion Protocol) Out Against Raptors

The Milwaukee Bucks will be shorthanded heading into Tuesday’s game against the Toronto Raptors with Damian Lillard being out.

According to multiple reports, headlined by Bleacher Report’s Chris Haynes, Lillard has entered the concussion protocol. The reason why is due to taking a hit to the head during the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Boston Celtics.

The 34-year-old experienced headaches and dizziness, with tests later uncovering that he did indeed suffer a concussion.

Despite being out for Tuesday’s game, and being in protocol, there is a possibility Lillard can be a “go” for Wednesday’s game against the Detroit Pistons.

This season, Lillard is averaging 26.0 points off 44.4% from the field, 4.6 rebounds, and 6.6 assists in ten games.

Zion Williamson (Hamstring) Out 4-6 Weeks

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the New Orleans Pelicans are gearing up for Zion Williamson’s hamstring injury to cost him 4-6 weeks of the season.

“The Pelicans are bracing for him to be out about four to six weeks,” said Shams Charania on NBA Today. “His return will be based on rehab and how that treatment goes on that hamstring strain.”

Williamson suffered the injury six games into the season, which is an unfortunate blow to both the player and the team. The 24-year-old played in a career-high 70 games last season.

New Orleans is down a bunch of players. They have no CJ McCollum, Dejounte Murray, Herb Jones, Jose Alvarado, Trey Murphy, and now Williamson.

This season, Williamson is averaging 22.7 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 5.3 assists in 31.1 minutes.
