According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the New York Knicks have traded Guerschon Yabusele and $500,000 in cash to Chicago Bulls for Dalen Terry.

After completing this transaction, New York will see themselves have financial flexibility below the second apron. Chicago plans on keeping Yabusele to strengthen their frontcourt.

In 41 games this season, Yabusele is averaging 2.7 points and 2.1 rebounds.

In 34 games this season, Terry is averaging 3.5 points and 1.9 rebounds.

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Minnesota Timberwolves have traded Rob Dillingham, Leonard Miller, and four second round picks to the Chicago Bulls for Ayo Dosunmu and Julian Phillips.

The Timberwolves made this move to improve their backcourt and strengthen it for Anthony Edwards. It’s expected Dosunmu signs an extension in the offseason, as he is a soon-to-be restricted free agent.

Dillingham will get his chance to prove to the league that he can play high-level basketball at his position, as many have seen the 21-year-old as expandable due to his limited playing time and inconsistent performances.

In 45 games this season, Dosunmu is averaging 15.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 3.6 assists.

In 35 games this season, Dillingham is averaging 3.5 points, 1.2 rebounds, and 1.7 assists.

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, after informing teams they were officially not trading Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Milwaukee Bucks have traded Cole Anthony to the Phoenix Suns for Nick Richards.

The full terms of this transaction sees Milwaukee landing Richards and Nigel Hayes-Davis, with Phoenix landing Anthony and Amir Coffey.

In addition to the Suns getting rid of Richards and helping their backcourt, they were able to get below the luxury tax. The last time this organization was below the luxury tax was back in the 2021-22 season.
