According to The Athletic, the NBA has made the decision to not punish Bam Adebayo for his altercation with Tyler Herro and him punching Herro. This was in a Las Vegas hotel and gym last week, both the players and the NBPA have discussed this.
“After discussing with the players involved and the NBPA, everyone would prefer to move on from this unfortunate circumstance, and no further action will be taken by the league,” said the spokesperson.
Before Herro was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks, him and Adebayo spent seven years together with the Miami Heat. Screenshots have come out that have direct messages from an Instagram account connected to the new Bucks guard online, this questioned Adebayo’s game and whether he deserves to be making all the money he’s currently making.
Bam Adebayo BACK after missing six weeks with nagging injuries!
Bam Adebayo BACK after missing six weeks with nagging injuries! Miami will be back with one of their highest-paid players on their roster this Monday. That is something exciting as the team is still waiting the return of Jimmy Butler, so, to them, this is a win that can be considered massive.
After six weeks of rehab, resting, and getting that right thumb back to quote-on-quote normal, Adebayo can now focus on Monday with the Heat. Six weeks ago, for those that may not know or have forgotten, he had surgery on his right thumb. Sadden the Heat and their fanbase as the power forward is averaging 18 points and 10 rebounds in the 18 games he played before opting for surgery.
They’ll be playing at home when they take on the Toronto Raptors.
Tough luck for the Heat/Bam Adebayo as surgery is not what they needed!
Tough luck for the Heat/Bam Adebayo as surgery is not what they needed! Injuries are at a high it seems like, especially this past year and a half. You know what I mean, or have I gone mad? Either way injuries are sure effecting the Eastern Conference with the Miami Heat losing Bam Adebayo. Why?
Because he will be sidelined four-to-six weeks due to a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right thumb; first of all, ouch! That sounds painful, secondly, that is devastating. The team will be missing him for about 15-20 games as the team is 13-8 so far, but could their winning ways last?
It should as they have considerable talent on their side, like Kyle Lowry and Jimmy Butler.
Note: Likely expect Dewayne Dedmon to assume the role of Adebayo’s while he is out with his rehabbing surgery. It truly bites for the two-way center as he has grown tremendously and wonderfully, when he comes back he will be electrifying. Bet that.
Adebayo will play tonight while Dragic is still out!
Adebayo will play tonight while Dragic is still out! This just in: the Heat have announced that Bam Adebayo, who was labeled as questionable, will play tonight. There was some positive things that were leaning towards them playing him tonight, he has been dealing with a neck strain injury for the past two games.
Dragic on the other hand will be out, he did have a positive moment for a second but that didn’t last. He was shooting out on the court before warmups to test his injured left foot, but it was a no-go.
This was to test his pain tolerance since completely tearing his plantar fascia in his left foot. He was trying to make a run at it, trying to get a good to go sign from his team. Unfortunately, he nor the team wants to have any more damage to be done to the ligament if he did play tonight.
So far in the series, it is 2-1 with the Lakers leading by one game. This is a huge game for both teams because this can give the Lakers the ultimate sealer for the NBA Finals; or give the Heat a shot at making this a competitive series, if they win tonight then the series is tied at two apiece.
Adebayo stats have been 17.8 points, 10.9 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game. The game entirely will be different for the Heat. From the standpoint that Butler won’t have to keep driving to the hoop; at least Adebayo can be another star player to help the Heat win this game and make it more interesting.
What do you guys think? Do you think that the Heat can win tonight? Or do you think it is going to be another Laker’s victory? Sound off in the comments below!
