Giannis is questionable for the game-deciding matchup! The Bucks have bigger issues now as their main star is hurt. Giannis Antetokounmpo sprained his right ankle and now is questionable for Sunday’s matchup against the Heat.
The injury occurred in the first half of Game 3 against the Heat, but continued through the game even though he was showing pain.
Antetokounmpo refuses to make any excuses by saying that “it wasn’t bothering me at all.” The reason why he said this is because he didn’t want to make excuses due to his team losing to the Heat.
Mike Budenholzer comments on Giannis’s injury:
“He’s a guy who’s going to fight through everything. The medical, the sports performance group said he was good to go and keep playing,” added Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer when asked about Antetokounmpo’s ankle after Game 3. “Exactly how he felt and how he was affected. He’s out there competing and giving us everything he’s got. I thought he did a lot of things well. But we all gotta do a little better.”
This is a game-deciding matchup for the Bucks as they are losing 3-0 in the series currently. The Heat and Jimmy Butler could be closing in on something amazing as the Bucks haven’t found their groove this entire series.
To me, personally, the Bucks didn’t look right when coming into the Bubble. Let’s take their first-round series, the Magic were making it interesting. The Bucks with Bledsoe, Giannis, Lopez, Middleton, and Korver. You telling me that can’t sweep them, blow them out from the beginning, and coming blazing out.
The Bucks need to win this game with or without Giannis because this is a make or break situation for them. The Bucks potentially could be losing their star player in free agency, they haven’t gotten to the Finals or even come close. They need to make a huge comeback, and it needs to happen Sunday. If not, then the Bucks will be looking at their roster lineups differently this upcoming season.

“We feel good; they feel good. I am in a good place. Obviously, if there is a team that can beat a team 4-0, and beat them, it can be us,” Antetokounmpo said, “We just got to believe in ourselves, watch the tape, play hard. We can’t do it game by game but play by play, position by position. We have to believe in ourselves, we can do it.”
