Major update with CourtSideHeat’s podcast!

Major update with CourtSideHeat’s podcast! As you guys know we have been producing so much content for our podcast whether you are streaming this on YouTube, Spotify, SoundCloud, iTunes, or wherever else. Especially with the playoffs here we wanted to release a new format of how the podcast will be looking from now on.

First of all, we have released that doing one podcast episode a week just doesn’t cut it anymore. We are growing, the NBA is coming out with all sorts of things (news wise), and we need to break it down. So, we figured out that instead of just doing one every Friday morning we should do one consistently.

Now, what do I mean by consistently? This is what I mean: Every day, besides Saturday and Sunday, we will come out with a podcast episode. Now, we will be excluding podcast episodes when it comes to certain holidays. Like what? It would be things like Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve or Day, Easter, and other holidays. Because we know that those holidays are meant more than just basketball and hearing me talk for a good amount of time; so we wanted to give those days of rest and relaxation.

What is the new schedule?

To be one of the top-dogs in this sport’s world, especially when doing talk-shows or podcasts, you need to do a lot of them. Right? We see it with the Doug & Wolfe Show, the OutKick The Coverage, ESPN and all their podcasts, and everyone else.

With that being said CourtSideHeat wants to be unique and consistent, what does that mean? That means that each day, Monday through Friday, you will be seeing a new podcast episode each day. We are hoping to have the schedule of each day at 8 A.M., why? Because this will give you something to listen to in the morning when on your way to work, at work, school, or need something to listen to.

How long should these segments be?

We have always debated that but we have come to a conclusion. The set scheduled times for these episodes will be between 30-45 minutes long; however, each week (typically on a Wednesday or Thursday) you will be seeing at least one episode that goes longer than 45 minutes. How long? CourtSideHeat is thinking about an hour or an hour and 20 minutes.

Because we want you to have all the breaking news each day, all the action, and never missing a single beat. Plus, we don’t want to cram this all in one podcast episode that would be of two hours or more. Just can’t do it, so that is our ideology behind that.

Conclusion:

So, with that being said this is what we have planned. This will effectively start today as today’s episode should come out in the afternoon as schedules are being fixed; also, with this new schedule we are hoping to gain new followers and help you guys never miss a beat in the world of the NBA.

We also believe with this new schedule that this will benefit both sides, meaning us and you loyal fans. If this works out then maybe we will continue to add to that schedule and make it more prime-time; depends on how far we get and how you guys respond to it.

But, yes, this was the announcement as we are excited for it and will not miss a single day. As Joshua Unangst will be hosting each podcast episode and will do his very best on making sure each and every episode is out by that scheduled time and day.
