Bulls bring back Patrick Williams for one more year

The rookie contract that Patrick Williams is currently on will be over after this upcoming season. Chicago exercised the fourth-year rookie scale team option to retain Williams for one more season.

It will be interesting what contract negotiations will be like due to his injury history, statistically performing for the team, and if they are willing to replace him from the starting lineup. But for right now, Chicago is looking to put him back into the starting lineup this season and primarily play at the four.

It appears the forward will be making $9 million dollars for the upcoming NBA season.
