Pascal Siakam could play Monday

The Toronto Raptors could be getting their All-Star back after ten games absent due to a strained groin. He hasn’t played since November 4th, a little over three weeks gone from the court.

In the November 4th game against the Dallas Mavericks, that is when Siakam left the game due to this injury.

The team has upgraded Siakam to questionable for Monday’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. It was reported that Siakam has fully practiced in recent days with no setbacks – which is a huge positive for the team and their fanbase.

Pascal Siakam missed ten games and in those ten games, the team went 5-5. Not too bad when the the team was/is dealing with other player’s injuries and illnesses throughout that stretch of Siakam not being there.

So be on the lookout for Pascal Siakam to play on Monday against the Cavaliers. He is currently averaging 24.8 points off of 47.9% from the field.

Jamal Murray Signs $208 Million Extension With Nuggets

The Denver Nuggets will not be losing one of their franchise players any time soon, as, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Jamal Murray has signed a $208 million extension.

Murray was set to enter this season looking for a new contract. If he didn’t sign an extension, he would have been an unrestricted free agent in 2025-26.

Denver has signed him to a four-year, $208 million max extension. This will add to the $36 million Murray was set to make in the 2024-25 season and guarantee the 27-year-old $244 million over the next five seasons.

Per ESPN’s Bobby Marks, the final year of his deal will see a significant payout of $57.5 million. Murray’s contract will run through the 2028-29 season.

Ivica Zubac Signs Extension With Clippers

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Los Angeles Clippers have extended Ivica Zubac’s contract. This extension will have him under contract through 2027-28.

The 27-year-old will make $70 million over the next four years. For those that didn’t know, Zubac was in a contract year. His former contract signed was a three-year, $32.8 million deal.

Zubac’s new contract with Los Angeles is the most he could have received under the new NBA’s CBA (Collective Bargaining Agreement).

Last season, he averaged 11.7 points (career-high) and 9.2 rebounds in 68 appearances.

Pacers Extend TJ McConnell To Four-Year Deal

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Indiana Pacers have decided to extend outstanding backup point guard TJ McConnell to a massive extension.

McConnell has agreed to sign a four-year, $45 million deal. This will run him through the 2028-29 season, making him 36. By the time he is an unrestricted free agent, he’ll be 37.

The 32-year-old was entering a contract year, which saw him making $9.3 million for the upcoming season. With this new extension, McConnell is stated to make $54 million.
