Joe Mazzulla NOT official head coach

We all knew that Joe Mazzulla was name the Celtics’ interim head coach, but with all success the team is currently having, speculation has erupted about whether or not he will be their head coach beyond this season.

The answer has finally come out but it is not what you are expecting. Boston will not remove the interim tag for Joe Mazzulla during the season. Furthermore, Boston is still up in the air on whether or not they will keep Mazzulla moving forward.

Good news for Mazzulla is that the team has guaranteed him that they won’t fire him if they are losing, he will stay for this season even if it gets rough.

Despite the Celtics having the best record in the entire league, Mazzulla is fully aware of what the Celtics are thinking and appears to be focusing on this season only; which makes sense, obviously.

The Celtics are evaluating Mazzulla as we won’t be hearing any breaking news regarding this position any time soon; in speculation only, I project the Celtics to reach a determination about the head coaching job in the offseason after the season has concluded and way before the draft.

According to multiple reports, led by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Boston Celtics are adding Lonnie Walker IV to their team.

The 25-year-old is signing a one-year deal as a prove-it deal to the league that he can ball and be a useful piece to a championship/playoff contending team.

In 58 games for the Brooklyn Nets, Walker averaged 9.7 points and 2.2 rebounds per game. His shooting splits were 42.3% from the field and 38.4% from behind the arc.

Jaylen Brown Done Celebrating: 'It's Back To Work'

After months of recharging the batteries and celebrating winning the 2024 NBA Championship, Jaylen Brown is ready to get back to work.

While some would want to savor the moment until forced to defend it, Brown wholeheartedly embraces it.

“Last year is over, to be honest. We celebrated, we had a good time. It’s been an awesome summer. I’ve been having a great summer, by the way.
