According to multiple reports, confirmed by the Denver Nuggets, the organization has named Ben Tenzer the interim general manager until they can find a permanent front officer leader.

Tenzer currently holds the position of vice president of basketball operations, a promotion he received in 2023-24. Before that promotion, he worked in Denver’s front office since 2012-2013.

Not too long ago, former general manager Calvin Booth was informed by owner Josh Kroenke he would be fired games before the postseason.

It’s expected they find their new manager after the postseason is over.

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, confirmed by the Phoenix Suns, head coach Mike Budenholzer has been informed by the organization that he has been fired.

In his lone season with Phoenix, he compiled a record of 36-46. Not only did he fail to lead his team to the postseason, but also missed the Play-In Tournament.

There is a large expectation of the Suns trading Kevin Durant this offseason and resetting this team to be built around Devin Booker. Booker has already committed to this team and will not request a trade.

Per Arizona Sports’ John Gambadoro, there were several reasons for his dismissal: his team didn’t compete, his relationship with players was not good, the team didn’t like each other, there was no energy, and they had no defense.

Gambo added by saying this was an overall “bad fit.”

Despite firing the former Milwaukee Bucks head coach, Phoenix will still be paying him $10 million a year for the next four years.

Originally, the plan was for Budenholzer to be the long-term coach. No longer bouncing from coach to coach, like they did with Frank Vogel after firing Monty Williams. However, they’ll be looking for their fourth head coach in four years.

According to Marc Stein, the New Orleans Pelicans are wrapping up a very underwhelming, injury-riddled season and could be expected to make some personnel changes.

The current front office leader, David Griffin, has had his actions called into question. Current owner, Gayle Benson, has questioned Griffin’s decision-making in transactions made over his tenure.

For Green, who is their current head coach, Benson has questioned how he operates his game-to-game rotations/lineups. Cobble that with his overall coaching record of 148-179, his four-year tenure may be coming to an end.

Despite winning two seasons and going to the postseason, Benson may make a change to how things are ran in New Orleans. This would target both Green and Griffin.

Most recently, the Denver Nuggets fired general manager Calvin Booth and head coach Michael Malone. Plus, the Memphis Grizzlies fired head coach Taylor Jenkins.

New Orleans’ future will be closely monitored this upcoming offseason.
