According to multiple reports, the Memphis Grizzlies will not have to see Brandon Clarke undergo surgery for his existing knee injury.
Memphis announced on Monday that Clarke received an injection in his knee to be able to avoid surgery, which is always the second option.
Despite suffering a high-grade PCL sprain on March 19th against the Portland Trail Blazers, the team expects him to be ready for next season.
In 64 games this season, the 28-year-old averaged 8.3 points and 5.1 rebounds in 18.9 minutes per game.
