BREAKING: Jae Crowder late addition to the Suns’ injury report ahead of tonight’s game
As first announced by Arizona Sports, Jae Crowder will be out for tonight’s game against the Houston Rockets. Tip-off begins at 5 P.M. AZ Time. Phoenix Suns’ head coach, Monty Williams, gave an update on Jae Crowder by stating his current injury.
A sore groin is what the forward is currently dealing with as there is no current timetable for Crowder. Also, we do not know the severity of the injury. However, Williams did not seem worried. It is all about resting and being smart about an injury.
“Sore groin,” Williams said. “That’s it. We’re just being smart with him. It’s just that time of the year where minutes are piling up.”
Per Monty Williams of the Phoenix Suns, obtained by AZSports
It is to be expected to see Ish Wainright to get some more minutes without the likes of Johnson and Crowder. It is most likely he steps into the rotation and how Williams uses him; just to make a note: we could see a new face in the starting rotation (like Craig), but that has not been confirmed.
WAIT! Don’t forget the “BE LEGENDARY” Devin Booker shirt
According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Sacramento Kings and free agent Jae Crowder are close to signing an agreement that will see Crowder rep the Kings’ colors for the first time in his career.
There is an expectation that once this deal is reached, Crowder will make his debut as soon as Wednesday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Sacramento is dealing with multiple injuries; headlined by DeMar DeRozan’s back and Trey Lyles’ calf.
Currently, the Kings are 8-10 in the Western Conference. This lands them 12th in the conference.
The Milwaukee Bucks will be returning one of their critical veterans with the news of Jae Crowder returning after missing the past two months due to injury.
More than two months were missed after Crowder had to have left adductor and abdominal tear surgery; he’s only played nine games this season for Milwaukee.
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the veteran will return Wednesday against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
