Clippers, Russell Westbrook Agree To New Deal

Russell Westbrook has agreed to re-sign with the Los Angeles Clippers, a team that traded for him last season.

The contract is set for two years, worth $8 million dollars. Los Angeles will use Westbrook’s Non-Bird rights to give him a minor boost in salary over the veteran minimum.

Westbrook averaged 15.8 points, 4.9 rebounds and 7.6 assists in 21 games with the Clippers at the end of last season. He showed out during their first-round matchup against the Phoenix Suns.
