Damian Lillard has expressed his commitment to the team, he has no intentions of leaving Portland. However, Portland makes the final call.

It is being reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic that Lillard is letting the front office make the final decision regarding his future.

Portland has two options involving Lillard: number one, trade Damian Lillard and starts the rebuild with the third overall pick. Number two, get a win-now piece and try to make it back to the postseason with Dame Time.

While he wants to remain loyal to the team that drafted him, he does want them to get serious about making the postseason. It’s been two seasons since being in the playoffs, and Lillard wants that to change immediately.
