Chris Paul Believes Isiah Thomas Got Rid Of Him

While Mat Ishbia has publicly denied Isiah Thomas having an official role with the Suns, their former point guard believes Thomas not only has a role with the team but also got rid of him.

Chris Paul responded to the Suns trading him through his interview with New York Times. He kept saying owner Mat Ishbia and Ishbia’s friend Isiah Thomas wanted to go in a different direction.

Dropping Thomas’s name a couple of times have the NBA World wondering if I.T. does have a role with Phoenix.

“Like I said, Mat and Isiah, they want to go in a different direction,” said Paul. “But my time there has been amazing. You know what I mean? It’s been great. And so, get back to work.”

People felt that when Ishbia took over the Suns Thomas could have a role with the team, and those feelings may become a reality.
