DeMar DeRozan diagnosed with Grade 1 thigh injury

The Chicago Bulls had an MRI done on DeRozan after he suffered an apparent thigh injury; good and bad news came out of that MRI, DeRozan was diagnosed with a Grade 1 thigh strain.

That’s the bad news, the good news is that Billy Donovan doesn’t believe the injury will hinder him from missing any significant time. In fact, DeRozan has not been ruled out for Thursday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks.

It has been revealed by DeRozan himself that his thigh has been bothering him for the past month. With the injury being downplayed and not considered serious, don’t rule out him playing on Thursday.

NBA Demar DeRozan speaking on safety handbook produced by the NBA Dr Fauci likes the idea Coronavirus

Demar DeRozan “frustrated” With NBA Health And Safety Rules!

Demar DeRozan “frustrated” With NBA Health And Safety Rules! Is the NBA taking it overboard with all the rules about safety and in general health? Well, Demar DeRozan is angry with the 113-page health book that was distributed to teams and players around the league.

For example, the NBA is requiring a 6-foot distance so nobody contracts COVID-19. Only thing is that this doesn’t pertain to practices or games. Example, diving for loose balls or playing defense.

If you are playing doubles ping-pong that is a fun, relaxing activity is prohibited because they are too close to each other. This is the part where Demar DeRozan thinks it is stupid and meaningless.

“The ping-pong thing is ridiculous, to be honest,” San Antonio Spurs guard DeMar DeRozan said on Thursday. “Guys can’t do this, but we can do this and battle over each other? That part just don’t make no sense to me. I got through 10 lines of the handbook and just put it down because it became so frustrating and overwhelming at times because you just never thought you’d be in a situation of something like this. So it’s hard to process at times.”

Don’t worry DeRozan the NBA is trying to make it safer by excluding those types of activities. The good news is the fact that can fight over loose balls and be on top of other players.

HOLD UP! There is one person who likes this idea, and he is a world-class doctor!

Doctor Anthony Fauci had this to say about the NBA taking these “precautions” about social distancing and safety:

“I actually have looked at that plan, and it’s really quite creative what they are really trying to do,” said Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. “I think they might very well be successful with it, to create a situation where it is as safe as it possibly could be for the players by creating this bubble.”

Is the NBA losing common sense over COVID-19 and general safety?

Now, hold on, before anybody starts getting angry with this headline. Let me propose to you this simple question. Is the NBA losing common sense over COVID-19 and general safety?

Common sense can be pretty useful and powerful when used correctly, so why is it okay for NBA games to be played but not simple activities? At least when you are playing doubles ping-pong you can wear a mask and gloves, but with the NBA games, you can’t because you would pass out.

All I’m saying here is the fact that we have to rule out simple activities to protect others while in the NBA Bubble; but when it comes to playing the game itself that rule book is thrown out of the window!

If people are concerned about the well-being of health in general, then why in the blue-navy are we continuing the NBA? If simple activities can cause the spread of COVID then how is playing basketball any safer? You can’t wear a mask, can’t wear a glove, can’t play six feet apart (ruins the game itself), and if you cough or sneeze you’ll be too late to protect the people around you.

So, I think I know where DeMar DeRozan is going. Where is he going? Basically, he is saying we can’t be afraid to have minimum contact in everyday activities when we are not afraid of being on top of each other during games.

It wouldn’t make sense, it wouldn’t balance itself out. So, it is not like he is saying COVID-19 is nothing he is just saying that it doesn’t make sense to take away ping-pong but not basketball games.
